Not what I expected. You feel like you're home here. The hotel offers a large restaurant area downstairs where locals frequently visit because the food is just that good. You'll find lots of traditional German recipes on the menu frequently adjusted to incorporate seasonal vegetables. The beer options are diverse. They bring in beer from local breweries as well. Now to the hotel. The hotel is not a modern W hotel. But it is clean in every aspect. The rooms are spacious (some free snacks included in the rooms) and equipped with cable TV. Rooms are fine and clean, bathroom is top, looks like new. Restaurant is very good. Staff is friendly and accommodating, breakfast is good and plentiful. The location is central, yet it is quiet at night. Price/performance ratio is fine. PS: In the room brochure the restaurant would be closed on Sundays. That's not true anymore.
