Afghan Kitchen South Surrey

So incredibly good. I’ve been to Afghan Kitchen twice now and I can honestly say I am a huge fan. Mind blowing flavour in every dish and five star customer service. We ordered Aushak (veggie dumplings) and charcoal grill beef and both were so damn amazing. The Aushak was plated beautifully and the mixture of yogurt with spices combined with the dumpling was tasty. The charcoal grill beef was perfectly charred and seasoned I’ve never had grilled beef that tender or so good. And the customer service is impeccable. Dined here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. The food was good but unfortunately our experience was marred by the arrogant attitude of the staff, particularly while waiting to be seated. The male staff who checked us in was cold and unresponsive. What made us feel the worst was how he very visibly sized us up, doing a head to toe scan of our party before proceeding to seat us. The one star is for the food, which was flavourful and generous in portion. However, I really can’t recommend a place that would make customers feel so judged and disrespected.

Zabi at the Afghan Kitchen was incredibly helpful with helping me choose gf options and explained which items may be cross contaminated and which would be safe. Felt great after and will absolutely come back.

Amazing food. Amazing people. Eaten here many times without a reaction. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, probably the best Afghan food in the province.
