First class afternoon tea and great that it was more than standard finger sandwiches, several scones and too many sweets... great that you had a choice of sandwiches, savouries and a sweet which was all tasty. Great venue and service and definitely returning.
The beautiful building is located in a peaceful area, perfect for my elderly mother who really loved the Northumbrian afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
The service was fantastic as usual. However, I was a bit let down by the food. I probably wouldn't get the afternoon tea again, but I would definitely order from the regular menu.
