Always a beautiful venue. We were greeted at the door. Had drinks and chatted on the sofas. We had a lovely round table which is perfect for conversation. The food was lovely. The staff put a candle on my mums dessert for her birthday which made it special. Our only complaint was that it was cold!! One of our guests actually stood up and stood by the radiator between courses. I appreciate that the restaurant had been closed for two days and it takes a while for the building to warm up ... but it spoilt what was otherwise a lovely meal !
Didn't know that the main restuarant was all booked out for a wedding and so didn't even know they had a small room off the building where we were taken to eat! Was small and really hot in there, tables quite close, luckily we were in the corner otherwise I would not liked to have stayed to eat! Staff were pleasant and helpful and my Salmon was nice, but menu seemed very limited obviously unlike large restaurant! Wouldn't go again if had to eat in that little room without many window, but clostaphobic, Shame!
The Barn is a lovely dinning experience. The restaurant is lovely place to sit and dine. The food we have found always to be very good. The only thing in my opinion that lets this restaurant down is the table services. It is O.K. but not then best and for the price of the meals and what i believe is the audience this restaurant is trying to target the service could be better.
The Barn with its high vaulted ceiling was ideal for our romantic evening dinner on a hot Summer evening. The food was good and the menu suited the weather, one of the big advantages of a privately owned restaurant using local produce. The ambience is never too loud, allowing a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The staff were helpful even though it was a busy night.

Another superb visit to the Barn, Mo the manager who is always professional and polite seated us and made sure our dining experience was first class. We would highly recommend this establishment for its great food, superb service, and lovely ambience, Thank you Mo and the staff it’s always a pleasure to dine here
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very good, despite the busy restaurant. All courses were cooked and presented well, and we enjoyed every aspect of the meal. Special thanks to Mo for making us feel welcome. Thank you!
We had another fantastic meal at The Barn. Due to the cold weather, we were seated in the smaller Barn 2 annex instead of the main Barn. Despite the chillier temperature, we still had a great experience as always. Thank you to the staff for another wonderful meal.
Food was delicious, the liver was cooked to perfection as were the side vegetables. Service was very good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be returning soon.

We had a fabulous roast dinner with friends. Excellent wine and very reasonably priced. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One of the best roast dinners we have had.
The location of this restaurant is simply excellent. I will definitely return soon!
