Airport restaurant, Ganderkesee There was a flying in of small planes today, so we went to see and have our lunch at the hotel restaurant. The weather was perfect and we sat outside and enjoy fresh air and see airplanes off and landing. The terrace was nice... and comfortable. The menu was large and seasonal dishes on offer were asparagus. The restaurant was about 70% profession. Although the staff worked very hard, the kitchen did not seem to be maintained. Diners had to wait long before the dishes arrived. They were aware that it was a fly-in day with more diners than usual and should be better prepared. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty bad, so no airplane was in itself. the service was generally slow, eating was boring, not much exciting and very expensive for the quality of eating and the ingredients you get. they can taste the low quality of the food and beverages used. if they spend so much money for eating, I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else.

No Frills restaurant on a airfield. Eating is honest and hearty German favorites like Schnitzel, Spachtel and Krautsalat are on the menu. The service is warm and friendly. No English menus, but some of the staff speak. It is located directly on an aerodrome, so... You can observe that small airplanes get out, parachutes, cloud divers etc. Nice to dine outside when the weather allows!
