the waitress was nice, but that was terrible. $30 for surfing and turf and the lobster was like chewing a rubber band and the steak was so dry that a1 I had to put on it did not do justice. I couldn't eat it. the appetizers where they burned, as if they had forgotten where they cook. we also asked for kartoffels and got burned kartoffels. happy valentine’s day lol. Thank you, my wife loves me and that was not a first date. I would not recommend this place to anyone. that was our first and definitely our last time. valentine worst’s dinner in 21 years.
The fish I had (Grouper, breaded and fried) was well made, and priced appropriately. My table also ordered catfish, which we were later told was unavailable that night, so that was changed to grouper as well (Blackened). We waited a bit longer than I would have expected for an appetizer. It was a Saturday night, so that may have explained why it was so busy and a bit loud, but over all, for casual seafood in a bar type atmosphere, I thought it was fine. Would go again.
that was my 4th visit and was a bit disappointed. first I had made a reservation, and there were many tables open and we were put back by the toilets. even if the food was delivered, it was not so hot. it wasn't cold, but a little better than lukewarm. I always enjoy my visits at aj stephens, but this time something disappointed.
Food is outstanding! Some of the best seafood I have ever had! All fresh! Crab Dip loaded with crab meat! Visited on a Friday night so the bar was packed and very loud, my only complaint on the establishment.
