Low quality fish cuts below my sashimi standards. We had the Kaisen omakase. Price was $99+ tax. The crab soup tasted like water with artificial flavors. The toro was too fatty that I couldn’t eat it. They also gave me a very terrible cut of fish along with the fish skin. Service was ok but not as good as any other omakase place. I have had $99 dollar Kaiden omakase in another restaurant, Hana Izumi. The food and service there were way better than this restaurant.
The amazing thing was the super fresh, raw tuna. I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. Also very child-friendly, service was unnaturally attentive, a bit annoying. The plates would be snatched away from us immediately after the last bite... and given back immediately after a sip of water... This made us a little uneasy.
Update. Still a great sushi place which has rocketed to the top of my list for sushi restaurants. The tatakis are great...that sauce...! Great little place! Just opened where S'Bastians used to be. Check it out!
This place is incredible, best sushi Ive ever had. The food is consistently delicious. Any of the tataki plates are complex and mind-blowing. If they have any king salmon in, get it, you wont regret it! Book a table now
A top marks sushi place. Not too crowded, very intentional selection. I encourage you to try the nigiri, and the karage and carpacio were also excellent. I had an absolutely wonderful time.
No idea what each piece was but it was delicious Slightlyyy disappointed it’s already sauced instead of fresh
