An amazing restaurant situated in Central MK. From stepping through the doors, Akasaka delivers with a beautiful bar and pink cherry blossom trees. The staff and service was fantastic exemplary from start to finish. We had the Karage Chicken, Spicy Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki to start. The Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki were brilliant, but the Karage chicken a little disappointing. It was the crispiest chicken I have ever eaten, but it wasn’t very flavoursome even with the dip. I enjoyed the ambiance and decor of this restaurant. However, I was disappointed by the long wait time of over 45 minutes on a not very busy Tuesday evening. The quality of the sushi was decent but not outstanding, and the California rolls with crab sticks were particularly disappointing. Despite the wait, the service was good. I expected more from this restaurant based on other reviews. Overall, it was a dinner meal.
I recently had lunch at this restaurant and I was very impressed. The price per person was between £10-20, which I found to be very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Speaking of which, both the food and service were top-notch, receiving a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, scoring a 5 as well. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant offers the best Japanese and Korean fusion dishes I've tried since relocating from the West coast of the US to the UK. The service is attentive and you will be well taken care of. Parking is available for a fee, but it may be free after 6 pm. Wheelchair accessibility is no problem, just inform them in advance.
