Have driven past the Akbar Dynasty so many times on the way to Teesside never really given it a thought because it is so isolated. So we thought we'd give it a try based on the reviews here. What a pleasant surprise. We received a warm welcome, we hadn't booked a table, but were shown straight to a table. It was quite busy considering it was only 7:15pm. As Curryholics, we thought we'd try something a little different, so we had Poppadoms, then the Mixed Platter to start, followed by the Agni Karai, Lamb Matka and a Cheese Garlic Nan. The food was superb. Both are medium dishes with lots of flavour just the right amount of kick!! The bill came to £37, including drinks, so overall it was good...
