The Al Torchio is the most excellent, cozy and charming restaurant in the region. The food is delicious and of a very high quality. The service was outstanding and the waiters are very attentive. The restaurant is also very kids-friendly. The italian interior and the live music added a positive feeling to a wonderful and authentic atmosphere. Go for the Gnocchi with tomato sauce or the Lobster-Pasta, it's their specialty, or just pass by for a coffee.
Very cosy and comfortable bar, especially in the winter, with a burning fire to warm up our cold feet. Staff are very friendly, we asked for stuzzichini (bar snacks) and they brought us so much of it, we could hardly eat it all up. The restaurant is next door and they have a great grotto-like courtyard where you could have your dinner on a summer evening. I will definitely be back to try that.
Very warm welcom by friendly waitreses. Selection of food was ok. Quality even better. We noticed ad wel in this restaurant as also in the previous two others that the prices must have been increased over the year. Simple Swiss wines were priced sky high.
Maybe you have to work a little to find this place. But it's absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is the best we had all weekend. And the food is no slouch either. We highly recommend sole.
