I went to the vecchio forno restaurant on the first night of my arrival at chin in September 2016. the pleasant location, with view to the port, the restaurant mainly designed for the summer had a veranda covered on the sidewalk, and was the only restaurant in this neighborhood with a queue outside. So I'm in! I was warmly welcomed and as I speak Italian everything was easy and pleasant! I had "pece spade affumicato" smoked fish with rocket, a large plate, juicy fish very tasty. We were told this place had the best pizzas all the time! we had reserved, so we had not to join the queue. we were sitting on the terrace outside but against the wall. The heat was unbearable because the roof was in place. the service was just correct and the pizzas were average. I agree with a previous comment that they don't have to try. The crowds outside were waiting, so it was like a treadmill. Very disappointed.
We ate pizzas to take away here several times in the last few years during our chin visit, so I can't talk to sit in the restaurant. pizzas are always super tasty and there are many options for fillings. the price is good, most seem to be from 9 to 12 €, which is a good value for money. recommended if you like pizza. In summer it's good to get out a pizza to take away and go sit on the beach to eat it!
Some of the best pizza i 've had. I have to highlight the calzone. A bit hard to describe, but the way it was steamed inside the dough gives it a very unique flavor, fresh and juicy. This applies to all of the pizzas, but the calzone amplifies this flavour. Not a very special atmosphere, however, simple and modern in the terrace. Would definitely come again

It's an excellent Italian chin restaurant. They make delicious Italian pizzas, generous servings, very good ice cream. service is efficient and its price is reasonable. it is open only in the evening and as it is popular, you have to book a table or you will have to wait. It's one of our favorite chin restaurants.
here, you have to be when it opens in the evening, 7:30, or to order tables. they have a varied menu with different dishes but I recommend their pizzas. It's not a place where you eat quiet because everyone speaks loud but the atmosphere is at its peak. the place is full of Italians who come to eat pizzas.
very good pizza and excellent wine from the house during a second visit, we had an excellent plate of large mussels, lanquestine, palourdes and squides in a nice broth. Very nice. it's in a beautiful place overlooking the port
Typical Italian restaurant.... friendly and professional staff. Very good food, my wife had shrimp gnocchi and I had mussels marinières and we enjoyed ourselves.... Varied menu and fair price... Recommended!
