Food is great and always tastes amazing. But the reason I'm not rating it higher is due to the staff. No one has ever been at the hostess stand when we enter and every time we've had to seat ourselves. We usually just go to the bar at this point since someone is usually working it. Today was the first time we were ever given a drink menu which had prices listed on it. Very nice since it's annoying to figure out beer prices or specials without annoying the bartender, who always acts annoyed. Today was a different staff completely so maybe they got rid or mixed things up. Other downside was a large group of wait staff hanging around the bar area, talking very loudly and cursing. Maybe they...r...

Albert G’s downtown is one of our favorite restaurants in Tulsa. The food and service is both consistently amazing, they have specials throughout the week and even though we don’t live close by, it’s worth the drive. The bar b que is so great and aside from the meat I appreciate really good side dishes. A G’s does not disappoint!! The potato salad is the best I’ve had — ever!!! Ever got a salad at a bar b que place? Usually not a good idea, but Albert G’s has a side salad that compares to any nice steak restaurant. The catfish on Friday is delish, as well. And in addition, there’s full bar service, great drinks.
Mediocre to poor food; too many negatives to waste time on this place when there are other great BBQ places in the area. The ribs were obviously cured with nitrites (added and pink all the way through--not the kind that naturally occurs during smoking) and my baked beans were undercooked and nearly crunchy. Our chicken wings had fairly good flavor, but they were hot on the outside and cold in the center. I assume they were microwaved since they appeared at our table about 2 minutes after we ordered. Sauces are nothing special. The service was fine, the place is clean, but if you want good BBQ, go somewhere else.
Conference goers!! This is the place to go. Spacious dining area. Renovated warehouse-like building with exposed brick and rustic-looking chairs and tables. Lots of big TVs, not turned up too loud. Wait staff was just the right amount of friendly. A fun assortment of BBQ and sides, potatoes, nachos, gravy fries, etc. Lots of beer choices. We were headed to the place next door, but we’re so glad we came here instead. Book a table now
Consistently outstanding ribs.... Just ordered a take out dinner from downtown location. Always order ribs, this is what Albert G's does really well. Sides are well above average for bar b que places and the ribs are dry rubbed and cooked to perfection. I have been ordering ribs from Harvard location since day one. Chuck, keep up the excellent work. Service, food and location equals win win win....
I really enjoy eating with the wings that are on top of my list, but the bar is what I like most about albert g’s. they have a great choice of beer and pamper some of their own egg-barrel whiskys. go in and try it out! gavin will go through some of the favorites.
Customer. The young man who took our order was rude. The food was of poor quality. There must have been a change of ownership. We have eaten there many times in the past, and the food was always good. Not so this time. We will not eat there again.
Go for the Beer and The Whisky. The beer and The bourbon list is great. Cool décor. The food is ok. Rib rub is way to salty and the shorter ends were crispy beyond being able to eat them. Brisket was good but I have had much better. Book a table now
This is our 'go to ' BBQ place. Downtown has a bar, Harvard location doesn 't. Haven 't been to the other location. They have a pickle, pepper, onion bar (gotta have those with BBQ), Good food. A must try if looking for BBQ
I love this place. The service is great and the vibe is cool. In a great part of town. All the food is excellent with special kudos on the drinks and appetizers (try the wings and brisket nachos). Love this place!
