It was pure luck that we discovered this little gem whilst walking through this little town stretching our legs. Maybe it was the combination of a wonderful day along with the situation next to a river but this place was great. We sat outside in the sunshine, enjoying the first rays of sunshine. It was a beautiful location and the staff was great very understanding and attentive. Food is what I would call good down to earth food which is presented very nicely and is tastes well. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and my colleague had a great time as well. We enjoyed our stay immensely and revelled in the atmosphere and the surroundings of this lovely quaint town.
Nach Betreiberwechsel eine neue Bewertung: Lage wie gehabt gut, innen (im Winter) als auch aussen. Allerdings sehr eng, der Nachbar isst quasi mit.Die Küche ist querbeet, von jedem etwas. Qualität: genügend, aber keine kulinarische Offenbarung. Fleisch etwas trocken, Burger zu durch, Burgerbrot und Sossen Fertigware. Salat so lala, auch Fertigdressing.Kein Gimmik, keine Extras. Service bemüht, muss aber noch üben. Man kann verzeihen, dass ein leeres Getränkeglas übersehen wird, wenn aber die Küchenhilfe sich zum telefonieren durch die Gäste drängelt - absolutes No-Go!
My partner and I have been thrilled! The ambience is beautiful and modern. The service was top and always friendly. Our food was fantastic. Bruscetta was fresh. The steak perfectly cooked medium. And the dessert was heavenly. A lavacake with liquid core. The selection of drinks is huge and something for every taste. Price/performance is consistent. The Alcatraz restaurant is definitely worth a visit and it will certainly not stay during a visit. Book a table now
Very nicely located on the water. The dishes look good, but tastefully they are not. The Mozzarella sticks and Twisted Pommes tasted good. Chief Steak was not boss-like. Taste rather fade. The pommes were less than lukewarm and quickly cold and thus no longer edible. The Burger Patties tasted ready-made.
Very delicious food, good cocktails, cool light cubes at the table to call the service and a beautiful ambience. Nice! Unfortunately, it is quite expensive and no credit cards are supported. The latter is a no-go for me.
Wir gehen hier im Sommer sehr gerne hin, weil man dort am Wasserfall schön sitzen und chillen kann. Das Essen ist ok, der Service an manchen Tagen leider nicht so gut.
