Celebrating friends being in town for the weekend, we chose Alchemy and it was spot-on! From drinks and appetizers, to dinner and dessert, the food was fabulous. Many of us ended up sharing or at least trying each other’s food choice. The only problem we had was not being able to choose a favorite. We were seated in the back of the dining area and had no problem hearing one another at our table of 7. The No Name #4 cocktail of watermelon purée and champagne was delightfully refreshing. My shrimp tacos were delicious. My 16 year old loved the soup and grilled cheese. This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure.
I went to this restaurant with friends on December 30 for happy hour and it is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was fantastic and I was happy to have come! I ordered the House Frites and Mussels for a post-work "dinner" and also got a few drinks from the happy hour menu. I highly recommend trying the Hound Dog cocktail as it was delicious! The mussels were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of garlic. They serve a generous portion of fries that is enough to share with the table. I will definitely return to try more of their food and drinks!
Excellent food and attentive service . beautiful presentation. I was extremely pleased. I wish that the portions were slightly larger. I agree with previous reviews that said not show up hungry. I had the buratta salad, arctic char and the white chocolate mousse for dessert. the noise level was higher than ideal-had some difficulty hearing my friend who was across the table.Overall, very high level dining-will definitely return!

I stopped in for some cocktails and had the Huling Station Old Fashioned- classic drink but the Old Dominick Bourbon made it special. Next, was the Hound Dog-delicious bourbon, peach, ginger and lemon flavors.
the salad and bread were very goodThe main dishes were ok but very very small portions I welcome small plates when they are priced accordingly.The main courses were priced between $40-$ 32 .
Our dinner was great. The food was prepared perfect, nice presentation, and charming atmosphere. The plates are very small so big eaters may be still hungry. Will definitely go bad again.
Food was good but a bit pricey for the portions but the quality was good. Service was a bit slow at times yet felt rushed at other times
