1st time buying here cakes Pinapple Banana Split Cake They were delicious. I took one star off cuz they do have quite a lot of selections for sweet bread pan dulce but it's by the pound and with 2 pieces of bread... well that's a pound. I know that dough/ bread is not that expensive to buy and make so I suggest to easy on the price per pound or sell by the pieces. 3 for $1 I'm just saying.
I was searching for a restaurant that served tamales because I didn't enjoy Delia's Tamales and stumbled upon this hidden gem. These tamales taste just like the ones my grandma used to make! They are moist, perfectly sized, filled just right, and seasoned perfectly.
The sweet bread is delicious and they offer a nice variety of drinks, but unfortunately, the quality of their barbacoa has declined. It's essentially just lard with a hint of barbacoa.
I purchased a large cinnamon roll and the unique thing about it is that they charge by weight rather than by the piece. The sweet bread is delicious and a good choice. Book a table now
You need to make more churros, I'm I'm big fan of the churros. I always got out of work at 5pm, after those ours there is no churros. Please make more ?
The bread at this restaurant is the best in the RGV. If I could rate it more stars, I would. It pairs perfectly with a cup of warm coffee.
The tamales were very tasty and delicious. The bread was also delicious. The staff was excellent and the prices were very good.
The barbacoa was good, but I felt that the tamale could have had more meat. Book a table now
