I was in Wednesday for lunch with my friend. The food was lovely but one thing that let it down was the following. We both were about to decide to leave when one of the servers came over asking did we want anything else, she had her hands behind her back My friend said no just the bill please Straight away she took the bill from behind her back. After we left I thought that was a bit rude of her she also did it to the table next to us too. Feel that's very un professional to do this.
We ate here on a busy Sunday morning and the service was excellent and staff friendly and professional. Cracking breakfast menu making it hard to decide what to order! Food well presented and great quality. Poached eggs cooked perfectly and homemade hollandaise sauce. Yummy! I enjoyed my coffee but my husband found it a bit bitter. We ordered waffles from their takeaway shop next door, for our daughter, and it tasted amazing! Looking forward to our next visit.
This is a lovely little cafe, right in the heart of Kirkie. I stumbled upon on here, on a sunny day for lunch, and returned on a rainy day, for brunch. Both times the food has been excellent and the coffee great. The food was served on nice warm plates, which is a must in my book. The staff and the service have been super. This cafe would not be out of place in the West end of Glasgow. I would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.
i have just found this cafe, OMG it is so nice , staff are so friendly and can not help anymore than they do(credit to them . it is always very busy and people still wait til there is a table free: the food is very well presented and tastes amazing. the cakes as well are just as nice, working myself through all of them : i will be gonig there anytme want my brunch, or just a coffee and treat : Book a table now
We opdered 2 coffees and sat outside. We were told u cant use the outside seating if u order takeaway. Also if someone else wants to sit out side, u will have to move. WTF!? There are plenty more options and alternatives to this place in Kirkintilloch. I suggest you try these first.
Appalling service! . My daughter and I stood waiting for nearly 10 minutes, waiting for a staff member to find us a seat. Some of the staff were chatting amongst themselves; they saw us but we were ignored . We left and went to Dnisi, which was first class in every way.
A very good and large breakfast. I have meant to go there for a while and went early. The breakfast was plentiful and served quickly with a large hot cup of tea,will be back
Really cosy, friendly atmosphere as were the staff. Menu choices were great. My smoothie was super tasty as was the hallumi bagel. Book a table now
Great food drink served with a smile. Atmosphere excellent a great place to meet up with friends or family. Highly recommended
