Alex in Kassel isn't like that. It is probably one of the most central locations in the city, located in the pedestrian zone, there are beautiful outdoor spaces to gieren, thanks to quality and service, but also the location does not get out. During the first visit on a Saturday evening, the place was not very well visited, we chose one of the countless free tables in the middle. It was nix and the controls, there were some on site, rails absolutely overwhelmed. A few tables from us, a young couple rushed out loudly to give up their order for three minutes. Five more minutes later they left the restaurant. We just wanted to drink a beer and actually thought it wasn't a problem....We sat ten...
Very nice location, nice central and very family-friendly! The food is super delicious and you can only recommend it to everyone. Alex just belongs to Kassel like the Hercules and is to everyone. Many are probably just too shy here and therefore have no satisfactory experience with the waiters. Because since Alex is so popular and full, it is also understandable why the waiters don't see you immediately in the jealousy of battle if you just want to. If you can't wait a second, maybe call the waiter. Then they'll be right there. At least:D
Alex is a pleasant, informal restaurant with a large terrace, located at a premium spot close to the Friedericianum and the city's artery of streetcar connections that pass through Obere Königsstrasse. The breakfast is selfservice; the waiter greets you and brings you coffee and juice,...while you make your choice à volonté. We had breakfast on occasions; all good. We also had our evening meal once; it was also OK and they have good draft beer and a small choice of wines. We'll surely remember Alex as a good pied à terre
great place to stop and eat a drink and a bite. stayed for a past eating and drinking as a family and only people watching. could still be there if we didn't have to go on with our trip. the service was even better. because I don't speak German, except a few words, but I try my best, he was so nice to try and talk big English and Spanish. when we're back in a kassel, we'll come back to the people. worth a visit.

Friendly staff badly organised. 1 person behind bar for warm drinks. 1 for beer ect....so takes them ages to serve everything. First served was warm drinks 5 minutes later cold drinks ect. No efficiency whats so ever.
Serving good regional food, Alex is an attractive spot with a wide open dining area and terrace. Bistro food very good and service was friendly.
I actually avoid such places, but because it should be quick when visiting the documenta, we are in. You sit quite nicely. Ordered ..
It is a nice place to goo whith your family and friends to eat.very friendly worker's end a nice ambient.i recomend this place.
