This place has gone down hill. Horrible from A to Z. These newer owners could care less about customer service. We have been coming here for years and today was the last time booking a party here. It was so bad that my brother canceled his upcoming party here. It was Bad service , we got burnt food, it was understaffed for a party that was booked far in advance. Stopped in Ali's as a fellow coworker has suggested that they were a good restaurant. I walked in and stood at the hostess stand for a good ten minutes before I was eventually greeted by a gentleman. I was promptly seated and my waitress came over with a warm smile. She was pleasant and friendly and took my order. I ordered the rice almond salad with adding chicken shawarma and extra almonds and Coke. I decided to visit Ali's based on a coworker's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. After a brief wait to be seated, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who promptly seated me. My waitress was warm and took my order for the rice almond salad with chicken shawarma and extra almonds, along with a Coke. The pita bread and garlic sauce that came with the meal were delicious. The dish itself was beautifully presented and exceeded my expectations. The chicken was juicy, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the extra almonds added a nice crunch. My wife and I used to love this place- the food was always great and worth the price. Not any more, we'll never order from here again. Why? Well, take a look at this picture of our delivery and imagine how you'd feel if you just paid 67.00 for it, plus an 8.00 tip for the driver. Hollywood cuisine in Roseville is a much better choice. The food is excellent and the prices are very fair- for this price we would have had meals for three days easy from Hollywood. Trust me, try there instead. Getting ripped off at the pump is enough.

I had an amazing dining experience at this beautiful restaurant! I typically don't enjoy lamb due to its strong flavor, but I decided to give it a try based on the restaurant's impressive menu and ambiance. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was, especially the freshly-baked pita which we couldn't stop raving about. The staff were professional, friendly, and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future.
I have been to this place about four or five times.. Food is always good, the appetizers are the best part, while the mains can have some improvements. What this place really lacks is service. Servers did not know much about the menu, or had answers to any of our questions. The restaurant interior is beautiful, they also have private sections and a second upper level. Allie's is a nice spot among many similar cuisines in the city, recommended.

The appetizer comes with 4 pieces of bread, but if you want more, there is an extra charge. Tabbouleh consists mostly of large parsley pieces. The eggplant dip tasted like it came straight out of a can and was not appealing. The falafel sandwich was very dry, with no sauce and only half a tomato included.
There was no one at the restaurant when we were there. The place was so cold. After I mentioned it to our waitress they did turn the heat on. It’s a nice and clean restaurant. The food was delicious. Our waitress was kind and caring. Will be back again.
