My husband and I went to Alley Kat more often than we were working on a renovation project in downtown, and we missed it so we stopped last night. The Tuesday evening dinner deal is great and it brings me to try more things on the menu. I always love them having some kind of trick on ****. It's crazy, but they rock pizza and salad not many places can do that. I had some of their other sandwiches and appetizers that are also great. My only complaint, which really has nothing to do with the service or food, is that we never get a table that does not drastically tend from the side to the side, are not paved by the feet. I'm just giving 3 stars because I was there for a few drinks with friends and I didn't get any food. I'm from the D.C. Metropolitan in Lancaster, visiting friends. That was our first stop of the evening. The bartender was very helpful and was really nice. Great beer choice.... although I ordered Jot every meal.... the couple over the bar has eaten a pizza that looked really good. The place was clean and the atmosphere had a cool mood. A great bar food! They have daily drink and food specials (usually advertised on their Facebook page). They have a a few taps (about a dozen) and they keep a great selection on rotation. It's a casual place so no need to dress up. I'm currently obsessed with the loaded kat fries (they melt cheese instead of using the neon cheese sauce).
Great local neighborhood bar. Friendly staff and really good food for a fair price. My favorite is the chicken tenders and fries.
