Alpengasthof Muttersberg

The sun terrace at the Alpengasthof Muttersberg is well worth a visit for a lunch of a lifetime. Taking a cable-car/ski lift to the top it's a stroll round to the terrace over a pond (So cram-packed with wildlife that it will have the kids fascinated for ages) and out on to the deck of the sun terrace itself. The views are stunning looking over Bludenz in the valley bottom over towards Brand and Montafon and on-wards.The deck is enormous with plenty of seating for what seems to be hundreds of people and the gasthof itself is spacious and beautiful inside; so what ever the weather you'll have somewhere to sit and something to admire. Very scenic location, serving great food in a beautiful setting, overlooking Bludenz and the vast Schesa Plana mountains chain, and Brantner Talan a sunny day great to relax, plenty of deck chairs to lay down
