First of all the setting, stunning right in the middle of the mountains. Even better when you can only really get there walking a mile or so, or cycling (but no cars, unless a taxi). The venue itself is pretty standard for the mountains, with nice outdoor seating with a view of the valley and mountains. It also has an extensive playground, which is great for kids. From the photos you will see that, on a Sunday, it looked like there was an outdoor mass with even a band. What a special experience. Upon arriving, all the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating (I’ve been various times). The only “watch out” about this establishment is the food. The ambience is very nice, the view while drinking coffee is simply fantastic! The menu is good and has enough choice. The waitress was very nice, and quick. The toilets are very clean, if something is forgotten there is something in reserve, and there is also a changing table for the very little ones. Kid-friendliness: Has a playground next door. Went here as part of a hike around Kloster. This is a great oasis in the middle of the Alpes and in good proximity of the city. They have typical Swiss food like sausages, schnitzel, etc and a good selection of beer. We stayed with water and juice to make sure we were hydrated for the return hike. Beautiful setting and nice food. The service was very good and we enjoyed our lunch very much.
Unglaublich freundliches Personal. Vom Schneeschaufler über das Servierpersonal bis zum Chef. Das Küchenpersonal ist sicherlich auch nett Dieses war jedoch nicht zu sehen.
