Alt Borkum - Table reservation

Viewed as a gastronomic, my stay on Borkum did not always correspond to the haunted naive expectations from abundant fish to buckling, and envyed by brittle buckthorn shower. The friendly Mr. Borkumer descent, whom I met on the train to Emden, had already warned: not too much fish, not too much iodine – sensitive people are already turning around. Well, due to the lack of attractive culinary offers, it could not come at all. However, a wide range of flexibility of lucullic nature cannot in principle harm. Not up to standard. For a place specializing in steak and charging euro for a filet, I would expect more. Two steaks ordered medium came out completely uncooked in the middle. Tables in main room are packed tight together. Super fast service but we...left feeling like we were rushed through dinner. Although with the atmosphere there was no reason to stay longer.

A very pleasant restaurant with a good atmosphere. I ordered the wrong meal from a German menu, but they changed it without a problem. I even received a drink on the house!

Wonderful restaurant best food we had on Borkum all week and the best service. I can highly recommend the Goulasch mit Spaetzle ein großer Genuss!

Great Restaurant , great Service and a good wine selection . A very good selection of Steak and local Dishes. You should make a reservation.
