the old thirsty is a good bourgeois restaurant with good price-performance ratio. it is however not the largest spatially and has a large theke, so you can argue about whether it is more likely to fall into the category restaurant or pub. I rated this restaurant with excellent because of their value for money. The restaurant is located in the heart of Düren. a few steps away from the Market Square and Town Hall. It's not only a restaurant, also a pub. Or if you want, the...other way around. They serve typical German dishes. Food is good, the quantities are also very good. Do not expect haute cuisine', because this is not what you are paying for. Expect to get a refreshment for euro or half a lithe Weissbeer for euro. Expect well prepared dishes for about euro (or less, or slightly more for a steak).
when I came to thirsty, I visited every time I left another local to find out where I feel the most comfortable (from the praised pfalz). I stayed hanging in the old thirsty, as I was immediately greeted here (without grim looks of masters) and I was immediately involved in the cuddly plum. eating is super, the service very friendly and the prices normal. I will continue to visit this locally and do no more experiments. mfg thomas
I live not far from Düren and I am often in the town centre. This place is one of my favourites. Also when my family come to visit they also like this place. The food is of a high standard, not too expensive and the...service is very good. The place is always very clean even when very busy.

I'm more a rarer guest in the old thirsty.. Why? n un jam pretty young the cliente is a little older there but now yes I have to forgive 5 stars because the eating is great, greedy and tasty.. And that my fellow guests are older I don't care: I always like to go back!
A cozy place to return and stay, very tasty food among others also home cooking, very nice boss, nice staff and in summer, you can sit out beautifully. Everything is true and above all warm kitchen
Nice, cozy place. At 11.30 a.m., the store was very crowded. On Mondays Schnitzel was day for 6,90€. Food was good and a lot.
Was there before Corona. Delicious food and drink. Relatively inexpensive. Go back.
