Alte Feuerwache - Table reservation

The Alte Feuerwache (in English, the name means Old Firestation) is a restaurant by Kurt Podobnik, a chef awarded a Michelin star, as well as various other awards. It is located in Wurselen, not far from the city of Aachen and the Dutch and Belgian borders. The interior of the restaurant is classic but comfortable, and the staff was attentive without being obtrusive. The menu changes regularly to deliver seasonal food and, presumably, add variety for regular customers. We had a 4-course menu at Alte Feuerwache. The staff was nice and attentive. From appetizers to dessert everything was perfect. Especially the main course (Bef-Tenderloin) was so tender and tender, I could probably have a second part. The part for beginners is actually too big, but in the end my husband and I were full, but didn't feel like overeating. The restaurant has its own parking on the street, which is very comfortable. I also like the open kitchen very much. While we wait for our next course, we were able to observe the staff in the kitchen how food was cooked and prepared. It smells so good all night. I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

We enjoyed the excellent food, local ingredients, fresh and creative combined. General portions and attentive and friendly staff. Always a great experience.

Had a wonderful veal dish and my colleagues said the fish was excellent. The wine and food paired well together. Good desserts. Delightful atmosphere.
