We visited this restaurant one Saturday some weeks before christmas (made a reservation a few weeks in advance). With reservation we ordered a dinner, roast goose, for 4 people. It was huge and really enough, good stuffing, delicious dumplings and a bottle of wine included for a very reasonable price. Service was good, too. Our conclusion: we´ll do it again next year. Highly recommendable.
Looked for a dinner restaurant and ended up here. What expected us was the best local cuisine in town. Excellent freshly cooked food with friendly service. 5 Stars for food, quality and service in a traditional atmosphere at normal prices.
Great authentic German food served in an old house right off the historic square. Very friendly hosts who make you feel right at home. If your looking for great German food in Bad Mergentheim and a historic space - this is it.
