we stumbled through this restaurant quite randomly. the next day we booked a place in mosbach to see heidelberg. we arrived late and the restaurant recommended by our hostes was already closed, but that was half a block down. we saw. a menu that was written and a plaque with the famous poet goethe remained there. wing to the door to check and it was open. open until midnight. we lived 4 years in Germany and had returned for a holiday to Germany, so we have eaten a lot of German food from everywhere and I promise that this was fantastic! huge portions, and very friendly and English speaking arta waited for us. delicious food, large portions, friendly service. well-padded pizzas, well-made salad. known for the large carving and cordon bleu, which is also available as a small portion. the small variants are usually sufficient for normal hunger. There are only balcony plates on weekends!Oft very full, even under week. Sometimes smoke swaths move from the next room (= smoker room) to the local. that is not so beautiful....In total highly recommended!
