Alte Sternwarte - Table reservation

During a small hike over the Seeberg we stopped at the Old Observatory. Surprisingly, the kiosk of the restaurant Alte Sternwarte was opened. With an ideal offer for hikers, hot and cold drinks, such as warm small meals. A super nice operation that serves food on the plate and drink in the glass. Very nice idyllic location, ideal for hiking. If you want to go back to the city and want to see the city that is unfortunately a single building, you must be on foot and plan at least 4 hours. The house makes a very well maintained impression. Rooms cozy and quiet. The restaurant in the house could be a bit more cozy, plenty of space and the food was very delicious. A nice boss and nice staff, I was very happy. Thank you.

The observatory is a traditional destination of the city of Gotha and the start or destination of my hikes over the Seeberg. Unfortunately, the charm of the house has lost since the last operators wanted too much. Today hardly any guests were on site. The waiter was still very attentive and on Zack . My salad plate was crunchy and superb. Thank you.
