When we arrived the place was crowded, and we didn't have a reservation. The bar man told us we might have to wait for up to an hour, but we stayed anyway (it was hard to find a place to eat that Monday night). The...beer was good and cheap, the food well prepared and tasty, and abundant, though nothing special in terms of gastronomic finesse, as was to be expected. Typical German fare, schnitzels, baked potatoes, and good salad. One or two vegetarian alternatives seen on the menu. Prices are friendly, just like the staff.
Had some beers and dinner here on a couple of nights recently. The beers were excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was really excellent. Great soup and wonderful Schnitzel. What more could you want in this corner of Germany.
Fairly standard German food and good value for money. The decor is very nice inside, it looks like a very old traditional building. The best thing was the very friendly service.
Reservation has not been noted, but has made everything possible so that we could eat there. The map is clear, eating totally delicious. Staff friendly. Clear recommendation!

Busy old town style building with both charm and lively buzz. The outdoor staged music was contemporary and tasteful for a wide audience.
