To make matters worse, the staff was rude and unprofessional. If you see a short, chubby girl wearing glasses, it's best to steer clear. Please don't end up with food poisoning like I did, and don't waste your money here. This used to be my favorite place, but it's become a disgusting disappointment. It seems like nobody there takes pride in their job anymore.
Terrible experience at Amato's! I stopped by today and ordered some sandwiches to go. When I got home and opened them, both had moldy bread. I called to inform the staff, not expecting to drive back, but just to warn her and suggest checking the bread. She didn't seem to care at all. It was disgusting and poses a health risk. I wouldn't recommend going there!
I was disappointed with the Italian food I ordered in New York. I got the sausage parm sandwich, which was either undercooked or just cold, and it had no flavor whatsoever. I wasn’t satisfied at all.
