I had a great time at Maya with my friends. The restaurant had a nice decor and a diverse menu. As a vegan, I was pleased to see vegan options on the menu. Our waiter, Kam, did a fantastic job ensuring that my food was vegan. He was very friendly and added to the overall experience. The potato cake starter and baby aubergine side were both delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed that my curry was too spicy due to the Naga pickle. The staff informed me that the pickle had become stronger and offered to replace it, but I didn't want to wait for my food. We have recently moved to Wellingborough and brought our house based on this restaurant being a sign, as our Daughter's name is Amaya and that's what is on their window. My mum was visiting from London and us being an indian/sri lankan family we thought we would explore the indian cuisine. I was not disappoint with Maya, we asked for everything to be spicy, and this was catered to. All the food was fresh and the portions were the right size, not too big not too small. Visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with friends First visit to this restaurant. We were welcomed in and shown to our table The tables were well spread out and there was a friendly atmosphere. we had 6 plain popadoms mused starters and a curry each. Two beers and a bottle of wine. We all enjoyed the food which was served promptly on warmed plates. The only feedback we had to the restaurant was the chicken passanda and my Mrs thought it was a little bland. All in all a lovely evening out with good company in a relaxed restaurant with good food We will return.
On the day before my birthday, my wife treated me to dinner at this restaurant. We had heard great things about this place over the years and finally decided to try it out. We were delighted by the professional staff, delicious food, and the overall experience. There was ample parking available, a warm welcome upon arrival, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning for another meal here, either dining in or getting takeout.

A friendly, warm welcome every time we visit this restaurant. Staff make you feel like a valued customer. Food is always amazing, full of flavour great portion sizes, both within the restaurant takeaways. If you're looking for a friendly, calm chilled atmosphere for dinner this is the place to go! Not sure what has happened here, but not a patch on what it was earlier this year and the staff seem to have changed, so perhaps different management now? . Food was bland and tasted under seasoned, with onion and tomatoes almost raw service didn't feel welcoming. Very disappointing and doesn't compare well with other options in Olney
Whilst a regular visitor on weekdays it was super to see so many people enjoying a Saturday night treat, and on the eve of Mothers Day. We varied from our usual choices and the food across the menu is all really well done. The service on a very busy night was as good and friendly as ever. Maya continues to be a special place.
