I ordered food from Uber Eats and they accepted my order instead of canceling it. The app showed that they confirmed my order and were preparing it for pick up. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, they claimed they never received my order and acted as if they had no knowledge of it. I was frustrated because I had wanted to give them a chance, but now I'm not sure if I should. They could have fulfilled my order, but instead they didn't and I didn't want to cancel it myself because I would have been charged a cancellation fee. Very disappointing.
I ordered the red velvet cake, but it tasted like raw flour. My husband got the peach cobbler and said it was delicious. We also ordered chicken wings, but when I reheated them at home, they were very greasy and tasted like they had been boiled in fish oil. It's disappointing that the food tasted so bad. I won't be going back.
The food at this restaurant is delicious! The catfish is consistently tasty and the macaroni salad is just right. The peach to crust ratio in the cobbler could use some improvement, but I still enjoyed it. Be sure to add some extra spice to the macaroni yourself.
The Lemon Pepper Tender (Just Chicken) at this restaurant are hands down the best you will ever have. The chicken was incredibly moist and had a fantastic crunch to it. The seasoning of Lemon Pepper was perfectly balanced and not overwhelming at all.

The chefs at this restaurant are not always attentive. I have received cold fries with my meal a few times. I have noticed that some restaurants initially attract customers but then become careless in their service, which happens frequently here.
