Ambeli Greek Taverna

It was our first time, but not our last. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by the owner. He was very kind. He immediately gave us the opportunity to sit inside or outside and gave us the waiting time for both. That was refreshing... honesty! You serve a warm Kalamata-Olivenbrot (from the breadsmith) and hummus while you choose your meal. Sooo good! We had the sausage cup. Wow! The mere scent of it was amazing and a bite of it was a burst of taste. The best sausage I had. I had the chicken souvlaki plate, which was very tasteful and my hubby enjoyed his gyro plate. Really a great culinary experience on our very rare dinner sans children! Thank you for good food and service!

Chris (the owner) was such a nice and genuine guy. Welcomed me, my cousin and pup with open arms! Brought my dog some water and lamb and was pleasant to chat with . All of the servers were so attentive and the food was amazing. The bread and hummus in the beginning were great and the octopus was so tender, my cousin got the lamb platter and it was all so amazing.

My family and I enjoyed an authentic Greek meal on Sunday night. What a pleasant atmosphere, and Chris the owner / manager was a pleasure to speak with, even closed after the place. He pulled a chair and talked to us for a while. Best spanakopita can be found! I saw a house of cooked food. Large, balanced aromas and a place we will definitely return to.

Service was wonderful as usual. Something that distinguishes this restaurant is that owners interact with their customers, remember them and make sure customers feel home. Food quality is always great, and our server was very attentive. Always a pleasure to go back!

Great food. Real-Deal Greek food with wonderful family-run ambience. Warm and friendly staff. Then recommend octopus and pork chops!
