"American Airlines, Bought a $2100 ticket in a desperate attempt to see my suddenly dying mother. I cancelled the flight within the hour as she had passed. The agent promised a refund, but now I'm being denied. Is this how you treat grieving customers? #Heartless #NoCompassion"

I appreciated the pre-flight text messages leading up to my flight back to Chicago Illinois with changes to either gate or departure time. I uploaded the American Airlines application with hopes of being able to retrieve my boarding pass but could not, resulting in me having to see a flight attendant which ended up being a breeze. Best believe I arrived early because I was not familiar with John F. Kennedy International Airport, as well as the commute via MTA New York City Transit. As for my airport experience, TSA was crowded, but the lines were moving! TSA allowed all individuals to leave everything like electronics inside of bags due to them having a high-quality X-ray tunnel. I was antic...

As the world's largest airline, it only feels fitting that American has its own dedicated terminal in JFK's growing fleet of flight options. Despite having flown them often for the better part of the last decade, I'm not exactly their biggest fan but I am one of their more frequent flyers. #1) Like any US based airline, they have their faults. Here at JFK, it comes in the form of flight delays, shotty service, and extremely devalued perks for even the most seasoned AA Elite. Flying American is supposed to be about convenience #2) but most travelers new and old aren't registering it this way. The good news is that due to the saturation international domestic flights and the fact JFK is an eas...

Negative stars. Absolutely the worst experience, from the first moment I stepped through the American Airlines TSA line. Every single American Airlines staff member at the airport was rude and dismissive. I get that you're overwhelmed, overworked, and underpaid, but if this is the job and company you choose, you have to represent. Every person on our flight had the crappiest experience imaginable. From the obnoxious TSA workers to the awful personnel forcing everyone to check their carry on bags because we were stuck on a pre-historic plane that didn't have overhead bin spaced for HALF the passengers. Rude and dismissive. Zero customer service. Never again will I subject myself to this miser...

Worst airline in America....according to the Wall Street Journal.....going on the 3rd year in a row. 91% of their flights are delayed. 82% are delayed more than 30 min. Rude employees, the most uncomfortable seats in the industry, terrible rewards program.... After 7 straight years of executive platinum status (1.3 million miles) i make it a point to never fly AA. If you choose to give to your money.....they'll screw something up. It's a guarantee.
