We have visited Amore various times previously. Called last night to book Christmas Lunch menu for Saturday 9th December and secured a table for 3.15pm. When we arrived were handed dinner menu and following ordering drinks when we queried the menu we were advised that lunch finished at 2.45pm. We each had two courses with a soft drink one with a starter and both having lasagne as main and the other a sweet. Restaurant was busy as expected for time of year. Firstly, we were accommodated promptly although we inconveniently arrived early. We were a smallish group (7) and the circular table was ideal. We had requested a waiter who spoke Italian as we are all learning Italian and Landi was perfect: professional, courteous and patient, with a sense of humour and last but not least excellent Italian! We were all very happy with the delicious dishes we had chosen, including the generous but not exaggerated proportions. Visited last night with hubby and kids. Food lovely, flavoursome and competitively priced for city centre. Restaurant pleasant to sit in, bright and nicely decorated. Service fell short, I think our waiter finished his shift around the time we had our starters (never saw him again). We sat with empty glasses and plates for half an hour before table was cleared. I could understand this later in the evening but our booking was for 8pm. Might have been that we were sat at the back of restaurant. Worth a visit just for the quality of the meal. V tasty
Came here the week before Christmas......very busy and buzzing. Quick efficient service with great food. The bruschetta to start with tomatoes and prawn was delicious. I had the pasta in prosecco with prawns, and it was so tasty. I loved it. Nice bottle of prosecco rose to wash it down. Only criticism is the the tables are very close together, so if you are looking for a romantic night....maybe try in the New Year....when it's quieter!

Perfect start to the Xmas celebrations. Fabulous food and fantastic atmosphere. Staff were lovely and although the restaurant was so busy you were never left waiting for anything. Special mention for the limoncello cheesecake. It was out of this world. Can’t wait to come back.
The restaurant was almost full, but a very kind staff member found us a table in a minute! Our order was taken very quick and arrived on the table very quick as well. Everything was more than delicious! Thank you Amore guys for everything!
A great place for Pre-theatre food. We've many times and have never been disappointed. Good service, nice wine, great food, brilliant atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. That's why we keep coming back.
