Anchor Inn - Table reservation

I can honestly say this is the best place to eat and drink. The food is incredible, cooked to perfection, and the portions are huge. The service is outstanding, with plenty of staff available to take orders and assist with anything you need. Everything is well organized, and overall, it's an excellent atmosphere. This has become our go-to pub, and the extra drive from Uckfield is definitely worth it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely pub with great food, top-notch service, and a fantastic outdoor garden area.

The venue features a fantastic live singer and is located in a great spot with plenty of seating. However, the staff could benefit from additional training, particularly in preparing the drinks listed on the menu. My friend had to explain how to make the passion fruit cocktail that was being advertised. Additionally, the drink service could be a bit faster. Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful time while waiting for our concert at the Brighton Center!

my family and I were over and liked the view of the pub so stopped and had lunch here on Sunday. the food was nice, pork bell roast was especially delicious. friendly staff, would recommend.

Amazing pub with great staff. Dog friendly, good food and service. Proper country pub with just enough gastro to be tasty, but not enough to feel stuffy.

Always really great food at the anchor and a lovely welcome. Menu changes regularly but also with very good pub classics.
