absolutely terrible from the moment when we came into the door and were greeted by a young girl who sit past us many empty sitting past a table on his own perfectly placed between the servier center and the toilets. the environment had seen better days, in truth they were scarf. the atmosphere, cold. the service was inevitable slow, but to be fair they were friendly. we were waiting for a few minutes before our food arrived. the lobster of my wife was dreadfully over boiled and dry. to be fair again, my longoustine was in order, with taking out the potato masquel served with them that was gray, lumpy, cold and tasteless. the french fries my wife (there is ironie) were soggy and cold. we have...
We visited this restaurant on the last night of our holiday as we wanted to eat fish and were impressed by the large fridge outdoor with all the fish and seafood on display. Most people were having the cold platters of seafood and never having tried this before we decieded to try one for our starter. It didn't disappoint, it was delicious. We then had fish off the warm menu for our mains which again was delicious, the vegetables on the side were lovely and fresh. I had the most delicious home made creme brule for dessert. The service was also very good. This restaurant is a little on the pricy side but well worth it!
This restaurant is at the north end of the port close to the Tour de Chaines. We had dinner here, and although we did not over-stress the kitchen (modules-fritters and a salad), were not disappointed. The service was particularly good.There are two sides to the restaurant, on on the street and one facing the sea, which we learned only after we ate! A good restaurant, a little bit more expensive than some, but still recommended.
Nice bar in the waterfront... a little confusing as there is another on the street behind with the same name. This maybe another entrance.... its not that clear.The food was good and while we had the boring standard fish choices, diners around us had stacked fresh seafood on beds of ice. Marvelous for the knowledgeable or the adventurous.Helpful staff - English menus - repeatable.

A seefood restaurant with 13 different halls. Each dining room is decorated in a different style.Despite its big volume, it is being run perfectly.Wide selection of dishes including salads and deserts. I would definitley recommend it to anyone and would go there again on my next visit to La Rochelle.Perfect setting in the harbour.
Went due to TripAdvisor listing. Had the mussels that were overlooked and served over cooked soggy friesNot a great experience , but most guests had the cold fish Fruit de Mere that looked fantasticWish we had ordered thatNice location and a very busy. We were just unlucky ordering the wrong dish.
every time I cross francia I do everything I can to stop in larochelle and take some oysters at a good price in andré and on the island of restaurant in a quiet oleron near the port and the door of san nicolás. a pleasure of the French coast
This is a great seafood restaurang just in the centre and by the water of La Rochelle. The fish soup is excellent ! Nice service and staff is good. Do reserve a table at high season. I have been there several of times.

Great seafood here on our first night, oysters, platter, other fish dishes and a classy creme caramel to finish. Service dropped off towards the end of the night but maybe we stayed too long chatting.
