As a reward for my workouts, I treat myself to Andy's once a week. I would definitely rank their ice cream among my top five favorites. However, over the past month, my experience with their ice cream has been hit or miss. My go-to flavor is the butter pecan concrete, which is absolutely delicious, but the consistency in preparation has been lacking. I try to give the staff the benefit of the doubt since it's supposed to be a concrete ice cream, but it often ends up more like a Frosty with minimal pecans and caramel. Sometimes I want to add extra toppings to my concrete, but I've hesitated because of the inconsistent quality. It would be fantastic if the service could maintain a steady stand...

I ordered caramel apples and spent $60 on them. Unfortunately, they turned out to be frozen, and when we tried to eat them, they were messy and mushy. When we went back to address the issue, they refused to refund us. It's a pity because we really enjoyed the place, but after this experience, we won't be returning. The money we spent felt completely wasted.

The staff is consistently friendly, the service is quick, and the frozen custard is absolutely delicious. Occasionally, there might be a slight wait, but it's never been excessive for me. While it is somewhat pricier than grocery store ice cream, it's a delightful indulgence every now and then.

How is this considered a medium? My cup is nearly half empty. I much prefer the one on 95th Street, where I actually get what I pay for. Even though I live in Palos Heights, I won’t be coming back to this location; this is the second time they’ve shortchanged my order. Book a table now

The custard is consistently fresh, and their seasonal flavors are absolutely delightful! Be sure to try the jackhammer-concrete mixer with a hot fudge center.

Love there seasonal treats. And if I don't get their seasonal ice cream, I get the mixers or a Sunday. And staff is always nice.

If I were stuck on a deserted island and could only take three items, I would choose one: the Boot Daddy Jack. Book a table now

The ice cream served here is absolutely fantastic! I can't say anything else about it—it's just really good.
