This place was always the bomb when it comes to their shakes! It has been a few years since I had been there, but the same family-friendly atmosphere and the food is still amazing! Hubby and I were sooohungry before we were there that I couldn't take photos. He fried the oyster basket and said they were delicious. I had the BBQ Pork sandwich basket and my frits on chili cheese, it was amazing! I had my ultimate favorite strawberry banana shake and had Nabeby taste it. He liked it so much, he got the banana split shake and he was also in heaven. Seriously, if you're in the area, stop by and take a shake. You will NOT be disappointed!! Keep the great work!!
This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. Food is good and inexpensive. I like the pot roast and it will go because it takes days for my lunch. I had the steak today and the sailor was perfect. I had sweet potatoes as my side and was surprised that they were waffles. They were well cooked and not fat. My husband had the shrimp basket. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. If you love butterscotch, try the milkshake. If you love mocha flavors, you get the coffee ice cream. It also has fudge-chunks and peanut butter cups. Nothing to complain here! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, cheap prices.
If you are from the city and want a great and reasonable place to eat when in Winter Haven I highly recommend Andy's. Not unusual, but very clean. They have been in the same position since 1951! From the moment you go until you feel welcome. Staff are very friendly and efficient and other patrons are especially locals and love speak with people and are also very friendly. Check the menu prices online. Very reasonable and you get enough food for 2 meals. I'll go back there when I'm in Winter Haven.
We got ice cream and it was all delicious. I got a cookies and cream shake, my husband got rocky road ice cream cone and my son got a swirl soft serve. The ice cream was amazing we will be back!
