Current mission - exploring the Cambodian restaurants in Springvale! Last Saturday we came across the Angkor Reach restaurant and, not knowing anything about it, went for dinner. The place is a cafe-style simple room, close-set tables, "full" most of the time with Aussie/Cambodians. This was a promising sign and the food did not disappoint. The menu is expansive and our spicy soup and chilli/lemongrass chicken were great. Our mouths were tingling for quite a while. Communication with the staff was a little difficult as their English is not good. Whenever I'm in Springvale, that's my place. The food is consistently good, whether I dive or take away, and the staff is all very friendly. I recommend the beef locomotive and the avocado shake.
