I felt obliged to write this based on pubs reopening in the height of Covid-19. Most pubs in the area are taking little to none precautions and I have no idea why. Surely making your customers feel safe should be not only a priority but good for your business? Anyway, I've made two visits to the Anglesey Arms this week and staff were absolutely brilliant in socialy distancing customers, providing a sign-in book and hand sanitizer gel everywhere and they were constantly cleaning tables and chairs. my wife and I had an opportunity to immerse in the poorly-seated, we were greeted by friendly staff and a very friendly atmosphere. not great eater that we ordered a small meal each, I must comment if what we got a...small meal I would like to see how she looks great meal than both our meals were more than sufficient. the food was cooked to perfection and the service of this table staff was excellent. I would recommend to anyone to pay this facility a visit for both a friendly drink and a wonderful meal.
at the arrival in the pub everything looked promising, but that changed when we entered, the staff behind the bar was unwilling, and did not really fit to the bill, as other “Shepard Neame” pubs are much better. Drinking we had, I had a bottle of master brew while my friend had a koks. at this opportunity the koss was flat and the glasses was dirty. I will not return to this pub.
the best Roast dinner without doubt, extra large portions and all circumcisions they could ask. the staff was so friendly and helpful. would be highly recommended to go there. best to book because they are always busy, and that doesn't surprise me. our compliments. to the cook that works so hard roast to cook the best. look forward to the next time thanks. stu, vicky, greg ann

We love this pub just for a drink, let alone the most epic Sunday roast. It’s friendly, the staff are lovely and welcoming, despite having to work 3 times harder due to Covid measures that they strictly adhere to. So you feel completely safe. You...must book. Gorgeous garden area also. A perfect pub in every way. The best pub roast we’ve all ever had.
Wanted a Sunday lunch in Bromley, found this on internet. They say the best Sunday Lunch in Bromley and think it is. The portions are huge and very tasty, the staff are very frienldy and helpful. Not a very big place so probably best to...book. Unfortunately only do food on a Sunday but certainly worth a visit
What an amazing roast dinner with all the trimmings! Without doubt the best roast I've had in donkers! If there were more stars to give i would. Everything cooked to perfection and plenty of it!
once again it never disappoints again. the roast is fantastic and the renter and the renter and all their staff are always friendly and tender. would recommend at any time and will be back
