Angry Goldfish Pub Eatery

This is the Waveland Cafe of Bar/Burger Joints! Seat yourself yes they are busy but so worth the wait. I have had 2 different meals here so far and both were awesome. First I had the Pork Tenderloin and I have never had one anything like this. It's like getting a chicken breast sandwich but it's pork. It's not a flat piece of pork hammered flat and breaded it's like a pork breast (if that's a thing) and it's awesome! I've also had the Pulled Pork sandwich and it was great too! Place was packed and I had to park on the west side of SW9th but I understand why. This place is awesome so expect to wait for a table like going to waveland cafe.

This place is amazing! The food is gourmet bar food if I can call it that and we've tried so many things on the menu but plan to come again and again! Great selection of beers and cocktails and daily specials! Patio is so cute! Please stop in and say hi to Josh he's a super nice manager and the wait staff is top notch and attentive! Definitely a hidden gem I want them to come to Altoona!

We stopped in for the first time yesterday around 5pm for a very early dinner. The place was already hopping! We got seated and had an awesome server. The food was delivered with minimal wait and the owner (manager? was very welcoming and attentive. We will 100% return. Everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. Next time...no kids!

I have eaten here on two occasions for lunch. Each time the service was friendly, food came out fast, but best of all the food was well composed, with great flavor and visually enticing. A great spot!

My favorite place! The staff is awesome and so is the food. Prices are very reasonable. They have the best **** Mary I’ve ever had.
