I have visited the Maplewood location twice and they have not disappointed. The broth is incredibly flavorful, to the point where you might find yourself drinking it all before realizing you still have noodles left, as I did. The appetizers are also delicious - we ordered the shrimp buns and wings and ended up feeling very full, but couldn't resist finishing the soup. I will definitely be returning.
I ordered the Mazemen pork Ramen (brothless) with chicken skewers on the side. The ramen was tasty, but the cold veggies reduced my enjoyment. The use of high quality ingredients was evident in the flavors. The chicken skewers had crispy skin, a definite positive, but the spices were unfortunately lacking.
I had a wonderful experience at this Ani Ramen location. It is conveniently located near the historic center of town. The food was delicious as always and the service was friendly and quick. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about. I highly recommend giving it a try!

1st time being their. Their pork buns are awesome. Very soft buns. Had the chef special soup. Great soup with a KICK. Definitely going back their again. I recommend this place to anyone. You can eat inside or outside. The host and waiter knows their stuff.
The ramen is consistently delicious, but the current price of $20 per bowl is a bit steep for just soup. It's surprising because nothing has changed or improved since the restaurant opened. The staff could also be a bit more friendly.
Ani Ramen has always been a favorite of mine and my husband's since our Montclair State days. The side dishes, ramen and service are always amazing! The buns and gyoza are a must have if you go! ????????
Service was pretty good. Ramen wasn't that great. The pork bun was probably the best out other places. Rock shrimp for the amount and being on top fried noodles was not worth the money. Book a table now
