Ordered takeaway during lockdown and was told an hour for delivery. We expected it would be busy under the circumstances. After waiting 90 mins decided to ring to see were our order was. It didn't sound like they new what they was doing if they had even taken our order. Rang again after 2 hours to be told driver now couldn't find our postcode. Eventually arrived after waiting WAIT FOR IT 2hrs 20mins. The food was average which has obviously been rushed and staff constantly lied.
We revisited Anise recently as we were back in the area.Pleased to say standard of food and service is still very good. Staff very keen to ensure you have the heat you want in the curries.The garlic and chilli nans and taka dahl were exceptional.Good value for money. You can also bring your own alcohol . My wife and I came to Dove Stone for a walk. After walking for a while, we became hungry and didn't know where to go. A friend recommended Anise Indian Restaurant. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Food poor and for some reason they've stopped serving alcohol, I look forward to a cold glass of cobra with my meal, no mention of this when we booked our table..
