I had high hopes for this restaurant. Took my dad here for his birthday waited 45 mins to get seated which was ok because we were enjoying the margaritas. Food is ok, not the best Mexican food in town but what made this experience ridiculous and caused this bad review was because one of their workers cleaned up our table while we were in the restroom. All our food, just ordered drinks still full, and plates there were only half eaten. Never would have thought i had to let them know we were going to the restroom and don't touch our food or drinks. We Were not even gone 5 mins!! Manager gave a discount but doesn't take away the fact of the negative experience for my dads bday. Word to the wise...
Came to visit my home town was so excited to visit Anita's but unfortunately it is no longer very family friendly. Defenitly remodeled for those who want to drink at the bar and more friendly to dogs than ppl as there were huge dogs inside. The atmosphere is so incredibly loud with its open floor design it sounds like a frat house inside and on the patio. My son is autistic and the noise was triggering him..when asked if we could just order to go the waiter said they were not taking to go orders ? after a 40 min wait for our table that was just insane to me so we just left. Anita's Mexican restaurant is a blast! Their Margaritas are top-notch, and their all-day happy hour is a fantastic deal. The service was excellent, even though they were quite busy when we visited on a Tuesday. We didn't mind the wait as we were able to enjoy our Margaritas at a nice table outside. Highly recommend checking it out! As for kid-friendliness, we brought our 9-month-old granddaughter who was content sleeping, but typically wouldn't be. The restaurant is loud and lively, but that's because it's both dog-friendly and kid-friendly.
I ordered a tamale with rice and beans at the restaurant. Before my food arrived, I asked the waitress if the tamale came in red or green sauce. She said red, so I requested it be changed to green. When my food was brought out, there was green liquid on top of my tamale instead of sauce. The tamale was difficult to cut open and inside, I found red sauce instead of green. The green liquid tasted like lime juice. Overall, I would rate the food two out of five.

We had the most amazing ceviche we've ever had and definitely plan to return just for another bucket of it. The dining experience was enjoyable with big margaritas, complimentary chips and salsa at each table, and generous portions of delicious food. The restaurant was lively and bustling inside with many groups having a great time, so it might be a bit noisy for those sensitive to loud sounds. Parking is available in the back of the restaurant.
Best margaritas in town! The large Cadillac will knock your socks off! No idea why they wait till 4 pm to open on weekends. They miss out on tons of business throughout the day. Even if they just did the bar and a small menu till 4 so we could smash a few margaritas after a morning surf. ?
Ordered the carnitas and it was NOT good. The meat was dry and hard. No flavor. So disappointed. My family ordered other things and thought they were decent.
