We did a birthday celebration here and it was an ok event. We wanted to make it more memorable, but the dark ambience and the loud environment made it difficult for many of us. The food and drinks were good but nothing out of this world. The service was erratic with the drinks coming in sporadically at different times and the food being served sporadically as well and inconsistently. The waiter was nice but we noticed he was overwhelmed. Some orders got mixed up but we accepted them anyway. Even drinks got served twice by different people. They confused the bills for different tables which shows that they need to improve communications among the staff. Thus rating this restaurant Good instea...
First visit and will not be the last. Celebrated my birthday tonight and I was not disappointed. The service was great as well, and the ambiance was nice. I had the gem Salad tossed with furikake and some awesome dressing and paired it with lobster dumplings in crème fraiche. The chef’s take on kung pao eggplant was just the right hint of spice and the wild mushroom bibimbap was hearty and comforting. Beignets for dessert and what tasted like a lychee sorbet complemented the whole meal!! Will definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu. Oishi!!
My husband and I picked up some friends from the airport and went to Anqi for dinner. The cocktails, Pear Martini and Manhattan, were not very impressive as they were weak on alcohol. We ordered Garlic Noodles, butter fish, shaken beef, salmon, and shrimp skewers, all of which were incredibly tasty and cooked perfectly. The highlight of the meal was the eggplant dish - strips of eggplant that were breaded, flash fried, and then sautéed in a sauce. It was unbelievable and we will definitely be returning for more! We were too full for dessert.
Great food. Service was good BUT we were told we only had 90min to eat, which wasn’t a problem and we were not planning staying longer. But waiters and staff were breathing down our neck and disrupting our conversations to clean up plates. This was supposed to be a relaxing family meal but every bite was being monitored and within 30min they cleared our table. This is not a fast food place and if we come to a restaurant we want to at least be left alone for a few minutes without being asked if we are finished with this or that.

The food at this restaurant was exceptionally good. They also offered a lunch set menu, which I thought was well-priced at $39 per person. The set menu included appetizers, a choice of a starter salad or sashimi, a main course, and desserts. Drinks could be purchased for an extra $4. I took my friend there for her birthday, and she was very happy with the quality of the food she received.
If you want a steak, better go to a steak house, ordered a ribeye, more fats and tendons . If you want cocktail, better put ice aside, or you will get almost a full cup of ice. Otherwise other foods are good.
Attended a private event, and Bella and Josh were amazing at the bar and would recommend it to anyone! I can't wait to come back !!
