Update 8/2 !! We had Peter again for our anniversary dinner and it was spectacular!! The food delicious and drinks were amazing?! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Peter was our server and he made our anniversary night one to remember!! Brought out champagne toast and a best wish dessert! Such a classy and upscale place to eat in Charleston! Will be back!
Best dining expirence and food I have ever had. I went to celebrate our elopement and could not have asked for anything better. The food was great, and the waiter (one with the thick beard) was even better. He did a great job at making us feel welcome and he always was attentive. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant.
Classy Southern style, with our great server Pete, we started with 2 cocktails....don't miss out on the burnt sugar old fashioned! Tasty shrimp appetizer, FABULOUS whole flounder and excellent grouper. We over indulged on wonderful pecan pie and creme brulee....need to walk a few extra miles today!
This place is unbelievable!! Best meal I’ve had in my life. From start to finish the service was amazing and the food is master class. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We will definitely make this one of our stops whenever we’re in Charleston going forward. Book a table now
I rarely post reviews, but felt compelled because the food was so good. We’ve eaten out for 10 nights in Charleston and Anson stands far above the rest. Bread, peppercorn pork chop, blackened halibut with grits, corn, charred broccolini, and pecan pie were outstanding!
The ambiance was very fitting. The food was amazing. Very well portioned and presented elegantly on our plates. Our server Jackson was very attentive and always knew when to refill our glasses. Ultimate experience when in Charleston.
Could not be happier about our experience. Coming from Ontario Canada and loving seafood already, this was our spot. Host was a great gentleman and our service staff was exceptional. Thank you and we will be back.
