When it came to the food, I anticipated more flavor from the sauce and the meatball. They were decent, but I found them lacking in taste. To enhance the flavor of my ravioli and sauce, I ended up adding Parmesan cheese, which is unusual for me. My friend ordered the salmon and mentioned it was good.
The prices weren't excessively high, but some items felt a bit overpriced. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs to-go for $22.00, which included a salad. While this isn't outrageous, the portion size felt a bit steep for the price. Overall, it was a positive and enjoyable experience, and I would consider returning, especially on days when most other places are closed.
If your looking for a classic but delicious Italian Restaurant look no further. The atmosphere is classy yet homey at the same time. I haven't had a better chicken Alfredo. I've had bad experiences in the food department at some other well known Italian restaurants in the best and so Anthony's surprised me in a good way. Made me love Italian food again. If you want Italian food you can ensure will be delicious and fresh, I'd highly suggest this restaurant.
Fantastic! Idk why it took me so long to finally go there! I'm a local to old forge for 12 years I wish I found it sooner! Best porkchop I've ever had hands down! Please make the porkchop marsla a main menu item! Also some of the best lamb I ever had! Both were specials but should be on main! Clams were perfect also! great cocktails! Oh the deserts where off the chain!!
Italian food tasted more Asian-influenced; could not eat my entree. Server was polite throughout service but did not respond when I indicated that I didn't care for my meal (left all but two bites on the plate). I never expect to not pay for whatever I choose to order, but at least acknowledge the fact that I wasn't able to eat my meal).
