Wow, great restaurants in Portree! The menu is unique and wonderful. We had a late lunch and still gobbled up all our dinner. Everything coming out of the kitchen smelled wonderful and my dessert samplers finished before I could steal a bite of anything. Even if its not meal time stop in and check out the decor and warm atmosphere with locals and tourists alike. This was our favorite restaurant in Portree even though the others were amazing also. Of course they expertly poured us stouts and drams and keep the kids smiling with non alcoholic beverages. I had such a great time I forgot to snap a photo!
5 of us dined. Burger was amazing, great chefs here Partner had Pork Belly and was very happy. 2 boys and MiL had child menu fish and chips and it's just as well they did because the portion size was massive and that was on a child portion. All left absolutely stuffed and happy. Great place to eat, live music on and Duncan who served us is just awesome.
Food was absolutely amazing, the duck and the chicken were very tasty and filling. The goats cheese croquette to start was delicious. The fire alarm went off 3 times during our meal, these things happen of course, the restaurant gave us 20% off without even complaining, exceptional customer service!
Lovely friendly people, they accommodated us with a smile and great food, even brought water for the dogs! Highly impressed and by far the best customer service we have received on the island so far, thank you. Particularly our waitress and the young lady on the counter that ran us out to the table.

This restaurant offers two vegan options on the menu: gnocchi without cheese and a chickpea spinach burger served with a bread roll instead of a brioche bun. The soup of the day, minestrone, was also vegan. The staff were helpful and willing to accommodate any requests.

we had a great meal. the mood and atmosphere are fun, eating is good, and the prices are reasonable. my favorite part was the very unique (at least for me) black johannisbeere sorbet. delicious!
