After a long drive through flooded roads, we arrived in Aberdeen and were in search of a place to eat. We stumbled upon Al Fresco and were greeted with the warmest welcome we have ever experienced! Despite the busy atmosphere, we were seated promptly at a table for two and received excellent service and delicious food. The specials board was explained to us with a hint of humor, and every member of the staff was friendly. The food was outstanding, and we even received complimentary Limoncellos at the end of our meal. This restaurant is by far the best in Aberdeen at the moment. My wife and I were invited to go there by my youngest daughter who has used it many times. The ambience is second to none. The minute you walk in you know you are somewhere special. The attentiveness of the waiters and their knowledge of the individual courses was admirable and they were obviously very proud to be working there. Service was quick but we enjoyed ourselves so much we were there for three hours! Our bill for a bottlle of white and four draught Italian beers threee main courses and two desserts came to £120. It had been a while since my last visit, but as always, this restaurant never disappoints. My friends and I stopped by for lunch and decided to try the lunch menu, which offers three courses for under £17 - a great deal with a decent variety of options. Despite being quite busy, the service was fast, efficient, and friendly. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was top-notch. The pork dish was cooked to perfection and delicious. The homemade Tiramisu was a nice change from the usual frozen desserts you find at most restaurants. We enjoyed a light, fruity Italian red wine that was reasonably priced. Overall, it was a very pleasant lunch experience.
Absolutely love the cosy, friendly and warm atmosphere of this fabulous little gem! When either on a table outside soaking up the sun or inside enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The food (whatever you choose) is delicious and presented beautifully. Michael (manager) has got the vibe in this restaurant just right, to make you want to return again and again! Robbie (our No 1 waiter) is always friendly, attentive and smiling while being completely professional! All this combined creates the perfect restaurant and one of our absolute favs!

This is our go to Italian restaurant in Aberdeen. The service is always great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is lovely! The food is delicious, we tested out several of their dishes and they were all tasty! There is something for everyone on the menu. Their tiramisu is to die for.
Went out to find an Italian Restaurant and found this gem by accident. Service was perfect and friendly. Food good, just dropped to 4 because I found the carbonara a little too salty. Might be fine if you enjoy higher salt levels on your food. But overall a wonderful experience
Fantastic meal, lovely food, attentive staff, great atmosphere and incredibly reasonable for what we had. Loved it and if ever in Aberdeen don’t miss it. PS. It’s now changed its name to Al Fresco.
