I've been going to this restaurant for another 40 years because of countless changes in direction. In any case, over the years, the quality has proved good. but never at the level of the time the restaurant was called the Breton. Now, however, with the name of apopino, the place has found its ancient glory. food is really good and service would be great if there were not the endless expectations, common yet to almost all restaurants in the neighborhood. three quarters of an hour to get the invoice seem objectively excessive. the remark to be made to almost all French restaurants, including apopino, is that they have philatelic tables, that is, as large as postage stamps, more embarrassingly...
the card is short but the products are fresh and the cook is gifted. we enjoyed the menu, very kind service. a small flat: the terrace is tiny and if you dine at two, you are very tight and it lacks intimidation because you share the conversation of your neighbours. It may be appropriate to reduce the number of tables on the terrace, since the interior is nice and wider. However it is a new address to grimaud and the assurance of spending a pleasant evening in this pretty medieval village. We'll go back.
Good atmosphere, good food, cosy interior and very nice staff! Really worth a visit! The restaurant is owned by a young professional couple, who just started half a year ago. They put a lot of passion in their work! One advice: add one more waiter/ waitress to yr staff, so you can work more relaxed. You have so many nice things to tell -even about the special olive oil- but you can hardly find the time now. It will be a good investment, as well in your customers as in yourself
out of the alleys full of visitors is the apopino which offers a small terrace without sight. a room with mezzanine and tables close enough apart from the round table in the middle. a desired factory but pay attention to the Tuesday fixed and unique menu and you forget to tell yourself when you book. Service coming, nice and effective, noisy children are allowed what slightly spoils the meal is a shame. good value quality prices must be encouraged.
